Serbia’s song for the upcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be released this Sunday.
Katarina Savić’s “Svet bez granica” will be released on November 6th on the Junior Eurovision YouTube channel. The singer filmed the music video last week in Belgrade.
Who is Katarina Savic?
Katarina is almost thirteen years old and enjoys singing, ballet dancing and playing trombone. She was selected to represent Serbia in Yerevan after an open call for entries by RTS, the Serbian national broadcaster. A panel of RTS music editors then reviewed the submissions, ultimately selected Katarina as the Serbian entrant for Junior Eurovision 2022.
Junior Eurovision 2022
Following Malena’s victory in Paris, the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex in Yerevan will host Junior Eurovision 2022 on December 11. The same venue also hosted the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2011, which was the first Eurovision event in history to be hosted in Armenia. The venue can host between 6,000 and 8,000 people for large concerts. The venue is only the second to have hosted the Junior Eurovision Song Contest twice, after Minsk Arena in Belarus.

Serbia made their debut in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest as an independent country in 2006. They were represented by Neustrašivi učitelji stranih jezika on their debut with the song “Učimo strane jezike”, finishing 5th with 81 points. Serbia went on to compete annually until 2010, after which point RTS withdrew from the contest due to financial difficulties. Serbia returned to the contest in 2014 and has gone on to compete in the contest annually.
