Serbia will take part in this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
Serbian broadcaster RTS has confirmed its participation in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022. The broadcaster has opened its song submission window, which will remain open until September 15th. The submissions will then be reviewed by a panel of experts, who will choose the Serbian entry for Junior Eurovision.

In 2021, Serbia was represented by Jovana and Dunja, who sang “Oči Deteta (Children’s Eyes)”. They finished in 13th place with 86 points.
Junior Eurovision 2022
The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022 will take place in Armenia, following the country’s victory at the 2021 contest in Paris. This is the second time Armenia has won the contest, the first being in 2010. To date, the following countries have confirmed participation or expressed their interest:

Serbia made their debut in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest as an independent country in 2006. They were represented by Neustrašivi učitelji stranih jezika on their debut with the song “Učimo strane jezike”, finishing 5th with 81 points. Serbia went on to compete annually until 2010, after which point RTS withdrew from the contest due to financial difficulties. Serbia returned to the contest in 2014 and has gone on to compete in the contest annually.
