Doria Wins Liet International 2022

The 13th edition of Liet International was held last week in Denmark, with Doria from Corsica named the contest winner.

Thirteen songs from across Europe competed in the 13th edition of the Liet International Song Contest in Tønder/Tondern, Denmark. The song contest was for performers in minority language with acts performing in Corsican, South Jutlandic and Frisian to name but a few.

The competition was held for the first time since 2018, having originally been due to be held in 2020 but was canceled due to COVID-19. The winner of the contest was determined entirely by jury voting.

The results of the competition were as follows:

  2. Germany – Schleswig-Holstein – Yourdaughters – Hudsult – 118 points
  3. Spain – Galicia – Carolina Rubirosa – O teu camiñar – 118 points
  4. Italy – South Tyrol – Jimi Henndreck – Heihupfa – 102 points]
  5. Israel – Sofia and the Baladis – Rebutalla – 85 points
  6. Finland – Sápmi – Ingá-Máret Gaup-Juuso – Dovdameahttumii – 82 points
  7. Spain – Catalonia – Roger Argemí – La contradicció – 80 points
  8. Netherlands – Friesland – Adri de Boer – Bliuw mar by mar – 72 points
  9. Germany – Northern Germany – Die Tüdelband – Wenn ik enen Wunsch harr – 60 points
  10. Italy – Sardinia – Emanuele Pintus – Genia – 60 points
  11. France – Franche-Comté – Bully Fumey – U Port Titi – 58 points
  12. Denmark – Southern Denmark – Martin Hørløck – Æ Nordschleswig-Lied – 54 points
  13. Germany – North Frisia – Martje Johannsen & Christoph Hansen – Maleen – 45 points
