With one day to go until their return to the Eurovision stage, Måneskin have revealed “SUPERMODEL”.
Eurovision 2021 winners Måneskin have released “SUPERMODEL” the song that they will be performing tomorrow during the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2022. The song will mark the return of Måneskin to the Eurovision stage one year on from their victory and subsequent global success.
According to the Press Pack for Eurovision 2022, the following acts will be performing during the Grand Final:
The contest will open with Rockin’ 1000 a group formed of thousands of rock musicians from across Italy.
Laura Pausini who is one of the three hosts of this year’s contest will be performing a medley of her greatest hits starting with her debut at Sanremo and ending with her most recent single “Scatola”.
Måneskin will be joining the contest one year after their victory in Turin. Following the most recent winners Gigliola Cinquetti, the first winner for Italy in 1964 will take to the stage, 58 years on from her Eurovision victory.
Closing off the interval, Mika who is also hosting the contest, will give a performance that “will continue to stress on the importance to combine the word peace with the word love”.
The Eurovision Song Contest returns to Italy this year following Måneskin’s victory at the 2021 contest with their song “Zitti e Buoni”. The Grand Final of 2022 contest will be held on May 14 at the PalaOlimpico in Turin. The contest was last held in Italy in 1991.
