Ahead of the Eurovision Song Contest 2022, we had the chance to talk to Reddi from Denmark before they performed at Eurovision In Concert 2022.
We spoke to Reddi about how the band was formed, their reaction to winning Dansk Melodi Grand Prix and Ihan’s memories of Eurovision 2012. You can watch the full interview here:

Who are Reddi?
REDDI are a Danish/Swedish pop-rock band consisting of Mathilde “Siggy” Savery (vocals/guitar), Agnes Roslund (guitar), Ida Bergkvist (bass), and Ihan Haydar (drums). Ihan is no stranger to the Eurovision stage, having performed as part of Soluna Samay’s backing band at the 2012 contest in Baku.
The group made their debut at the 2022 edition of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix, where they won with their song “The Show”.

Denmark in the Eurovision Song Contest
Denmark debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1957 alongside Austria and the United Kingdom. To date Denmark has won the contest on three occasions, the first being in 1963 when Grethe & Jorgen Ingmann performed “Dansevise”. Denmark won the contest again in 2000 represented by the Olsen Brothers, their most recent victory came in 2013 when Emmelie de Forest performed “Only Teardrops”. Denmark failed to qualify for the final of the Eurovision Song Contest in 2015 and 2016.
