“Fire it Up” is the song that will represent Montana at the American Song Contest on NBC.
Jonah Prill is set to perform “Fire it Up” for Montana in the first series of the American Song Contest. The song is set to be released on March 28 which means that Montana will be one of the states competing in the second qualifying show on the same day.
Jonah is from Billings, Montana and is best known for his content on TikTok. The country singer has over 800,000 followers on the platform with his videos being viewed over 500 million times. Jonah’s biggest hit to date is “Friday Night” which has been streamed over 600,000 times.

What is the American Song Contest?
Entries from all 50 states, 5 U.S. territories, and the nation’s capital Washington, D.C., will compete for the title of Best Original Song. The show will be made up of three qualifying rounds which will then be followed by semi-finals and end with a grand final where the winner will be crowned.
Song submissions for The American Song Contest opened back in late May and were open to acts of all genres from all over the USA, whether they be solo artists, duos or bands.
The show will be broadcast on NBC from March 21 with the winner being crowned on May 9.
