Eurovision 2022 national final season continues as two countries reveal more of their national final entries.
- 10:00 to 11:00 CET – Ireland – Eurosong 2022 – Sixth song revealed
- Norway – Melodi Grand Prix – Semi-Final Two Duels Revealed
- Slovenia – EMA 2022 – Semi-Final Two Snippets
10:00 CET – Ireland – Fifth Eurosong 2022 Entry Revealed
The sixth entry for Eurosong 2022 will be played this morning between 10:00 and 11:00 CET on the Ryan Tubridy Show on RTÉ Radio 1. A total of six entries will compete on a special edition of The Late Late Show on February 4.
The entries released so far are:
- Rachel Goode – “I’m Loving Me”
- Brendan Murray – “Real Love”
- Janet Grogan – “Ashes of Yesterday”
- Brooke – “That’s Rich”
A total of 320 songs were submitted to RTÉ to represent Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin. This is the first time since 2015 that the public will be involved in choosing the Irish entry for Eurovision.
Norway – Melodi Grand Prix – Semi-Final Two Duels Revealed
NRK will announce the artists that will compete against one another in the duels for Semi-Final Two of Melodi Grand Prix this morning. The four acts competing on Saturday night are:
- Lilly Löwe – “Bad Baby”
- Steffen Jakobsen – “With Me Tonight”
- Farida – “Dangerous”
- Daniel Lukas – “Kvelertak” (Suffocating)
The winner of each duel will move on to a final gold duel. The winner of the gold duel will progress to the Grand Final.
During each show leading up to the final, one of the pre-qualified finalists will perform their entry live for the first time. Christian Ingebrigtsen will be performing “Wonder of the World”.
Slovenia – EMA 2022 – Semi-Final One Song Snippets
Snippets of the eight songs that will be competing in EMA 2022 Semi-Final Two will be revealed today. The snippets will be released on Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and TikTok. The eight artists and the songs they will compete with are:
- Mia Guček – “Independiente” (Independent)
- Gušti feat. Leyre – “Nova romantika” (New romance)
- Klara Jazbec – “Vse kar imam” (Everything I have)
- Verdan Ljubenko – “H2O dieta” (H2O diet)
- Anabel – “Tendency”
- BQL – “Maj” (May)
- Hauptman – “Sledim” (I follow)
- Eva Moškon – “Kliki” (Clicks)
The semi-finalists who were selected by RTVSLO will be joined by two EMA FREŠ winners that will be chosen on January 28. A jury will select three finalists while public voting will select another three.
