After a month of heats and second chance rounds, the line-up for the live finals of EMA Freš 2022 has been announced.
Following twelve Duels and five Second Chance rounds the line-up for the televised EMA Freš 2022 shows has been announced. A total of fourteen acts have been chosen by the Slovenian public and a jury to compete in the shows, they are:
- Stela Sofia – Tu in zdaj (Here and now)
- LPS – Disko (Disco)
- Jon Vitezič – Jesus Style
- Ina – Moj dopamin (My dopamine)
- Jaka Hliš – Svoje sreče krojač (Your luck tailor)
- LUMA – All In
- Leya Leanne – Naked
- De Liri – Obstajam (I exist)
- Marijan Novak and Špela Velikanje – I Am So in Love
- Katja Kos – Deadly Flower
- Emma – Moja sreča (My happiness)
- Anja Vodošek – Maniac
- Mia Vučković – Telenovela
- Nika S. – Počakaj me (Wait for me)
Two shows will be held in January with seven songs in each of the shows, one song will be chosen by the public and one by the jury to go through to the final of EMA 2022. The four EMA Freš finalists will join sixteen acts who will compete to represent Slovenia at Eurovision 2022.
The dates and draws for each show will be announced in the new year.

Slovenia was one of three countries to join the Eurovision Song Contest in 1993. The country qualified through a specially organised selection round called “Kvalifikacija za Millstreet” which was hosted in Slovenia, seven countries competed for three spots in Eurovision 1993. The country has participated in 22 editions of the Eurovision Song Contest. Their best result came in 1995 when Darja Švajger finished 7th scoring a total of 84 points, she is closely followed by Nuša Derenda who finished 7th in the 2001 contest with 70 points.
