Today is the last day that ERT is accepting proposals for artists and songs for Eurovision 2022, while Ireland holds the semi-final of Junior Eurovision Éire.
Greece – Eurovision Proposals Window Closes
The Greek public broadcaster ERT will today close the window for record labels to submit their proposals for singers and songs for the Eurovision Song Contest 2022.
The rules of the Greek selection were as follows:
Each proposal should be complete: that is, it should include a performer or a group with a maximum of six members, according to the regulations, as well as one to three songs, which have not been released or presented to date either in Greece or abroad. in any way, in whole or in part. The selection of the participants will also take into account any artistic group accompanying the performer and ideas (concept) for the promotion and presentation of the song.
A number of artists are known to have already applied to represent Greece in Turin including Evangelia and Kalomira.
21:00 CEST – Ireland – Junior Eurovision Éire – Semi-Final

Eight artists return to the Junior Eurovision Éire stage this evening vying for three places in next week’s Grand Final.
Following four weeks of heats, eight young singers are competing tonight for a place in the Grand Final of Junior Eurovision Éire. Two singers were chosen from each of the heats to progress through to this evenings show. The participants are:
- Lilyella Buckley
- Eva Norton
- Shannon Copeland
- Cora Harkin
- Sophie Lennon
- Alison McGrath
- Julie Cole
- Maiú Levi Lawlor
Two singers will directly qualify from the final after their first performances this evening, while one will be chosen in the final duel. The final duel will see the singers that placed 3rd and 4th perform for a second time with the jury selecting the third finalist.
