Davina Michelle has spoken about her upcoming performance in the first semifinal of Eurovision 2021 as part of “The Power of Water” interval act.
The Dutch singer and YouTuber Davinba Michelle, has spoken about her emotions and thoughts ahead of her performance as a Eurovision interval act:
“Performing for so many people, yes that is very exciting, But I’m really looking forward to it. It’s going to be really great.”
The interval act will be called “The Power of Water” and is about how water is the one thing that connects us all. Water is very important to The Netherlands and the city of Rotterdam which is famous for its port, which connects the city to the world.
“The song is about the fact that we are all different and grew up in a different environment, there is one thing that connects us and that is the water. I love that I can use the stage to share that with the world.”
The act “The Power of Water” is said to use many high-tech features such as augmented reality and all of the many features of this year’s stage. With the singer saying:
“the whole box of tricks is being pulled open. It will be really epic. People are not going to believe what they see.”
Eurovision 2021
The Eurovision Song Contest 2021 will take place on May 18, 20, and 22 in Rotterdam. A total of 39 countries will take part in the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Eurovision 2020 was due to be held in Rotterdam after Duncan Laurence gave the Netherlands their first victory since 1975 with the song “Arcade”. After the cancelation of the 2020 contest, it was decided that Rotterdam would host the 2021 contest instead.
