🇫🇮 Finland: Yle Reveals Panel For ‘Viisukupla – Eurovisionsbubblan’

Yle has revealed the panel that will be reviewing the entries for Eurovision 2021 during Viisukupla – Eurovisionsbubblan.

The Finnish public broadcaster has revealed the three panellists that will join Eva Frantz and Mikko Silvennoinen in reviewing the songs competing in the Eurovision Song Contest 2021. In the first two episode of the show the hosts and panel will reviewing the 39 competing songs, the panellists are:

  • Marco Bjurström – Television host, choreographer & director
  • Ronja Stanley – Singer and songwriter
  • Tuure Boelius – YouTube and singer

The show kicks off on May 8 and continues on May 15. An online vote is currently open on the Yle website for the Finnish public to vote for their favourite, the publics favourite will be revealed on May 15.

On the night of the Eurovision Grand Final a special episode of the show will feature the best songs to have competed in Eurovision, voting is currently underway on the Yle website to decide which songs feature in the song.

Finland first participated in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1961, they debuted alongside Spain and Yugoslavia. Finland has finished last in the contest on 10 occasions and has received ‘nul points’ three times. It wasn’t until 2006 that Finland won the Eurovision Song Contest. Lordi represented the country in Athens with the song “Hard Rock Hallelujah” scoring 292 points, a record total at the time.
