ProSieben has announced that 16 countries are set to compete in the Free European Song Contest 2021 next month.
The German broadcaster ProSieben has confirmed that a total of 16 countries will participate in the Free European Song Contest 2021. This is the same number of countries that participated in the 2020 edition, the countries that are competing have yet to be announced.
The 16 countries in the 2020 edition were:
- Austria
- Bulgaria
- Croatia
- Denmark
- Germany
- Ireland
- Israel
- Italy
- Kazakhstan
- Netherlands
- Poland
- Spain
- Switzerland
- The Moon (Participant from the masked singer)
- Turkey
- United Kingdom
Last year the Director of ProSieben explained that a number ofย international broadcasters had signed up to compete in this years edition of the contest. To date, no international broadcasters have so far confirmed their participation in the event.
Steven Gรคtjen and Conchita Wurst will be hosting the Free European Song Contest 2021 on May 15.
