Duncan Laurence the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 is set to perform during Semi-Final One and the Grand Final of this years contest.
Duncan the reigning champion at the Eurovision Song Contest will be performing twice during the course of the Eurovision Song Contest 2021. As is tradition the singer will be performing during the first Semi-Final on May 18, he will then return for the Grand Final performing a brand new song. Duncan commented:
“I am really looking forward to performing at the Eurovision Song Contest. We have all had to wait so long for it, but it is almost there. It is very special to be able to return to the stage, where it all started for me two years ago.”
Head of Show, Gerben Bakker, added:
“It is special to work with Duncan and his creative team. In recent months, we have worked hard to present performances at a high level. In short: the quality that we are used to from Duncan Laurence and with which he brought this unique festival to our country. I am convinced that with his performance in the Grand Final he will touch the viewers again.”
Eurovision 2021
The Eurovision Song Contest 2021 will take place on May 18, 20, and 22 in Rotterdam. A total of 39 countries will take part in the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Eurovision 2020 was due to be held in Rotterdam after Duncan Laurence gave the Netherlands their first victory since 1975 with the song “Arcade”. After the cancelation of the 2020 contest, it was decided that Rotterdam would host the 2021 contest instead.
