Denmark’s Eurovision representative, Fyr Og Flamme will be filming their live on tape performance later this week.

The duo, which consists of Jesper Groth and Laurits Emanuel won the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix on 6th March, which means they will represent Denmark at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 with their song “Øve os på hinanden”.

Jan Lagermand Lundme, the entertainment editor of the Danish public broadcaster has revealed that the back-up performance will be filmed on the same stage as Saturday’s DMGP show, and is scheduled to be recorded in the coming week. Their main aim is to record a performance where the viewers will not feel any difference compared to a live performance.

Lundme added:

“We have a few days to prepare, so now the work begins to look at whether there is something we can change or adjust the boys’ performance, which if possible can make it even better.”

Fyr Og Flamme will perform in the second half of the 2nd Semi-Final on May 20th.
