The international juries that will help to pick the Finnish representative for Eurovision 2021 have been revealed.
Mikko Silvennoinen, the Finnish commentator at Eurovision, has revealed the seven juries who will be voting this Saturday. These juries that will determine 25% of the result in the final are:
- United Kingdom
- The Netherlands
- United States
Three of these nations have had juries in UMK in previous years, with the remaining four being new additions for the contest. It is also believed that this is the first time that a jury representing the United States has voted in a Eurovision selection.
The running order for the final is as follows:
1. Teflon Brothers x Pandora – I Love You
2. Aksel – Hurt
3. Laura – Play
4. Danny – Sina paivana kun kaikki rakastaa mua
5. Oskr- Lie
6. Blind Channel – Dark Side
7. Ilta – Kelle ma soitan
The final of UMK 2021 will take place in the Mediapolis Studios in Tampere on February 20. The show will be hosted by Antti Tuisku, who will perform the opening number with Erika Vikman, runner-up of UMK 2020.
In a change to the format, public voting will account for 75% of the overall result and the international juries will count for 25%. The winner will go on to represent Finland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021.
