BTRC has revealed that around fifty songs were summitted into the Belarusian selection for Eurovision 2021.

The Belarusian broadcaster has revealed that roughly fifty songs have been submitted to represent the country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021. The number of submissions into the selection process is around half the number submitted in 2020 when ninety-five songs were sent into BTRC.

The rules for the selection stated that all submissions must include a live 3 minute video recording of the entry that is being put forward for Eurovision. Singers wishing to compete in the contest are only able to submit one song into the selection.

The broadcaster is now reviewing all of the submissions to ensure that they are compliant with the selections rules. BTRC is still assessing how it will select its entry for Eurovision, the decision will be influenced by the COVID-19 situation in the country.
