According to EW, Rachel McAdams and Will Ferrell were due to perform at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 as the duo Fire Saga to promote Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga. The report says that the duo were to go on an extensive promotional campaign including an attempt to get ‘Volcano Man’ to chart ahead of the films release, they would have also appear on Saturday Night Live in the US.

The biggest revelation in the report is that Rachel McAdams and Will Ferrell were due to perform at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Fire Saga according to the report would have performed during the Grand Final of the contest, just days before the film would have been released on Netflix.

The Eurovision Song Contest 2020 was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga soundtrack has gone on to be nominated for a Grammy for the Best Compilation Soundtrack For Visual Media.
