The Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union has announced the acts that will be competing in the ABU TV Song Festival 2020 on December 14.
Fourteen countries are set to take part in the 2020 ABU TV Song Festival, including the debut appearance of Vanuatu and Nepal at the event. The ABU TV Song Festival was held for the first time in 2012 and is a non-competitive showcase from across the Asia-Pacific region.
The countries and acts are:
- Brunei (RTB) – Auf Ismail – I Am The Star
- China (SRT) – Sonam Gonpo – You and Me on the Plateau
- India (DD) – Akashvani Vadya Vrind – My India
- Indonesia (TVRI) – Epo D’Fenomeno – My Love Get Locked Down
- Japan (NHK) – Hatsune Miku
- South Korea (KBS) – Taemin – Idea
- Macau (TDM) – Sean Pang & Germano Guilherme – “Unsatisfied” & “United”
- Malaysia (RTM) – Floor 88 – Debt
- Nepal (Radio Tulsipur) – Sindu Malla – Pirati ko jala
- Turkey (TRT) – Öykü Gürman – For Your One Word
- Turkmenistan (TVTM) – Begmyrat Annamyradov – Bitarap yurt Turkmenistan
- Uzbekistan (MTRK) – Ilyosbek I. Arabov – What happens – Come
- Vanuatu (VBTC) – Tokosouwia – Resilience
- Vietnam (VTV) – Dương Hoàng Yên – Hanoi beauties in 12 flower seasons
Brunei, Malaysia, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan are all returning to the event having not participated in last years show in Tokyo, Japan.
The show will be livestreamed on YouTube and Facebook and will last for an hour from 06:00 GMT to 07:00 GMT.
