Tonight the semi-final of the Georgian selection for Junior Eurovision 2020 takes place, while Estonia’s song submissions window closes.
Georgia – Ranina Semi-Final – 20:00 CEST
Five acts are competing this evening for three places in the final of the Georgian selection for Junior Eurovision 2020.
The five acts were selected last week following four rounds of performances across the past eight weeks. The five semi-finalists are:
- Sandra Gadelia
- Rati Gelovani
- Nia Khinichkashvili
- Marita Khvedelidze
- Shio Kavsadze
The three acts going through to the final will be determined by a three person jury. The jury can award up to 120 points to each act, with four categories with a maximum of 20 points each, determining the total score.

Eesti Laul Submissions Window Closes
Today is the last day for songs to be submitted into the Estonian selection for Eurovision 2021.
The rules of the selection are as follows:
- The cost of participation is €55 for songs in Estonian and €150 for songs in other languages.
- This fee is paid electronically through the ERR website and will go towards funding Estonian participation in Eurovision 2021.
- Foreign artists and composers may take part, as long as they collaborate with an Estonian citizen or resident.
- Artists and composers can submit a maximum of five entries.
- Songs must not be longer than 3 minutes.
- All artists must be at least 16 years old.
- To apply, applicants must fill in a participation form, send the song in MP3 or WAV format, the lyrics of the song with an Estonian translation (if needed) and a biography and photos of the artist(s).
The 24 semi-finalists will be revealed no later than November 12, with their entries being presented no later than December 5.
All three shows of Eesti Laul 2021 will take place in Tallinn. The semi-finals of Eesti Laul 2021 will take place in ETV studios in Tallinn for the first time since 2018. This decision has been made due to the current Covid-19 restrictions on gatherings in Estonia.
