The Opening Ceremony for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020 will take place on November 23.

TVP schedules reveal that the Opening Ceremony for the 2020 Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be held on November 23. The ceremony is scheduled to be aired on TVP 1 from 17:25 CET and last 35 minutes.

Details regarding how the Opening Ceremony will work have not been announced. Traditionally during the ceremony the position in which Poland will perform will be drawn. The host nations position in the running order is determined by a random draw, as will the nations opening and closing the show.

Twelve countries will take part in Junior Euroivsion 2020 on November 29 in Warsaw. They are:

  • Belarus – Arina Pehtereva – “Aliens”
  • France – Valentina – “J’imagine”
  • Georgia
  • Germany – Susan – “Stronger With You”
  • Kazakhstan – Karakat Bashanova – “Forever”
  • Malta – Chanel Monseigneur – “Chasing Sunsets”
  • Netherlands – Unity – “Best Friends”
  • Poland – Ala Tracz – “I’ll Be Standing”
  • Russia – Sofia Feskova – “Moy novy den”
  • Serbia – Petar Aničić – “Heartbeat”
  • Spain – Soleá – “Palante”
  • Ukraine – Oleksandr Balabanov – “Vidkryvai”
