The official music video for Russia’s Junior Eurovision 2020 entry has been released.
Sofia Feskova has released the music video for her song “My New Day”, which will represent Russia at this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Warsaw.
Filming took place in Moscow and sees Sofia ‘appear in the image of a young artist who, with her drawings, inspires other children to believe in herself and in her dream.’
In the video, Sofia is then joined by singers and dancers from the Academy of Igor Krutoy who take part in a flash mob inspired by the slogan for this year’s contest ‘Move The World’.
Who is Sofia Feskova?
Eleven-year-old Sofia Feskova is from St. Petersburg, Russia. The singer is no stranger to competitions, having competed in the Junior New Wave competition and making it to the final. Sofia competed in the Russian Junior Eurovision selection this year, finishing in 1st place, 6 points ahead of runner up Rutger Garecht.
Her song “Moy Novy Den” (My New Day) is about how you should “never give up, keep going, and fill every day with generosity and happiness”.
