Tonight: Germany Selects For Junior Eurovision 2020

This evening the act that will represent Germany on their debut appearance at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be revealed.

Germany will be the first nation to reveal its artist and song for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020 this evening. The final part of Junior Eurovision Song Contest – das Casting airs this evening on KiKA, with five young singers hoping to be the German representative in Warsaw.

The five acts in the running are:

  • Linnea May (13)
  • Malaika (14)
  • Davit (12)
  • Leroy Kay (13)
  • Susan (13)

Two songs have been prepared to for the winning act to perform in Poland. “Stronger with You” which is a ballad or the faster “See You Later”. The songs have been written by Levent Geiger who has selected by KiKA to write the German entry.

The act and song that will represent Germany will be determined entirely by a jury formed of:

  • Martin Haas – Music Producer
  • Michele Huesmann – Show and vocal coach
  • Max Mutzke – Represented Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest 2004
  • Levent Geiger – Composer of this years German entry for 2020
