The next set of scores are in as the juries from Armenia, Azerbaijan and Croatia reveal their Eurojury 2020 points. As ever 50% of the vote is being decided by national juries and 50% by you, the public.
Each voting nation is represented by a jury consisting of past Eurovision, Junior Eurovision, national final participants and special guests. Each juror is asked to form a ranking of their favourite competing songs which is combined with the other jurors in their country.
The points of each jury are shown in a graphic below. The top ten is listed in alphabetical order, with the nations that received 8, 10 or 12 points in bold. The full points will be revealed during the Eurojury broadcasts.
On the Armenian jury is Suren Poghosyan, Mariam Petrosyan, Gevorg Harutyunyan, Elizabeth Danielyan (Betty), and Michel Grig.
- Suren Poghosyan took part in Armenia’s national selection, Depi Evratesil, in 2018.
- Mariam Petrosyan participated in Armenia’s national selection, Depi Evratesil, in 2018.
- Gevorg Harutyunyan is a singer who took part in Armenia’s national selection, Depi Evratesil, in 2017 and 2018.
- Elizabeth Danielyan (Betty) represented Armenia at the 2014 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Malta. With her song “People of The Sun”, she finished in 3rd place.
- Michel Grig represented Armenia at the 2017 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Tbilisi, Georgia. With his song “Boomerang”, he finished in 6th place.
On the jury for Azerbaijan is Eldar Gasimov, Samra, and Nargiz Birk-Petersen.
- Eldar Gasimov is a singer who won the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest for Azerbaijan alongside Nikki. Their song “Running Scared” picked up 221 points in the final.
- Samra represented Azerbaijan at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm, Sweden. With her song “Miracle”, she finished in 17th position in the final.
- Nargiz Birk-Petersen is an Azerbaijani television presenter who hosted the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest alongside Eldar Gasimov and Leyla Aliyeva.
On the Croatian jury is Beta Sudar, Elis Lovrić, and Mia Negovetić.
- Beta Sudar is a singer who took part in Croatia’s national selection show, Dora, in 2019.
- Elis Lovrić participated in Croatia’s national selection show, Dora, in 2020.
- Mia Negovetić is a singer who took part in Croatia’s national selection show, Dora, in 2020.
Three more results will be revealed each day until April 26th, the day before semi-final one of Eurojury 2020.
About Eurojury 2020
Eurojury will return in 2020 for the eighth broadcast of the most accurate simulation of Eurovision results. 180 Eurovision winners, past participants, national finalists and a handful of special guests are due to take part in this year’s edition, which will be broadcast live on Showcase, by Eurovoix on May 1st.
For the past two years, Eurojury has correctly identified the winner of Eurovision with both Netta and Duncan Laurence topping the overall leaderboard in Eurojury and the Eurovision Song Contest itself. Eurojury also correctly identified four out of the top five acts in the final in Tel Aviv.
For a fifth consecutive year, Rob Lilley will present the coverage. This will be the third time he has been the sole presenter following two editions with a co-host – 2016 with Karl William Lund and in 2019 with Alice Chapman.
Directing the show once again will be Samuel Deakin – he has conducted this role on every edition of Eurojury. Heading up the production will be James Rowe after he co-produced the broadcast in 2019.
