The Eurovision Spain PreParty 2020 which was to be held in Madrid has been postponed due to coronavirus.
The organisers of the Eurovision Spain PreParty have announced that the event has been postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak. The organisers released a statement saying:
Eurovision-Spain.com postpones PrePartyES 2020. The celebration of the fourth edition of Eurovision concerts in Spain was scheduled for next Friday, April 10 and Saturday, April 11. The website and event management has made this decision, the most difficult and sad in our 20 years of history, in the face of the world pandemic of Coronavirus and the State of Alarm decreed by the Government of Spain, and in an exercise of responsibility with the delegations, the artists and their teams, the public and our own team. Next week the public will be informed of how to proceed with the reimbursement of event tickets.
PrePartyES 2020 is thus postponed until April 2021 or, in case Eurovision also delays its celebration date, in parallel to the festival this 2020. Until now, the event had 28 confirmed artists, 17 Eurovision 2020 and 11 of the history of the contest.
