Senhit will sing “Freaky!” for San Marino at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam.

San Marino RTV launched a two day online selection in which the public were given the choice of two songs to pick from for Senhit. The songs were “Freaky!” and “Obsessed”. “Freaky!” received the most votes from the public (out of 31,846 votes cast) and will therefore be the Sanmarinese entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2020. The official music video for the song was also released today.

Senhit was internally selected to represent San Marino in Rotterdam. She previously represented the country at the 2011 contest with her song “Stand By”. Since her previous participation, she went on to release new singles “Through The Rain” and “AOK”, as well as appearing as a permanent guest on Canale 5’s “Domenica Live”.

San Marino were one of the first countries to confirm their participation in this year’s contest following their best result at the 2019 contest. Serhat represented the country with “Say Na Na Na”, placing 20th in the Grand Final, and finishing 10th with the public televote.
