STB has revealed the percentage of the televote each of the six finalists received in the final of Vidbir 2020.
The breakdown of the televoting percentages has been revealed by STB. The results show that Go_A received just over 1 in every 4 votes cast during the final last night, while Jerry Heil was the only act not to receive over 10% of the votes cast during the show.
The full breakdown is as follows:
- Go_A – 25.43%
- Khayat – 20.93%
- KRUTЬ – 19.90%
- Tvorichi – 15.44%
- David Axelrod – 11.30%
- Jerry Heuil – 7%
Go_A went into the final last night as the second placed act from the first semi-final, having finished 3rd with the jury and 2nd with the public vote. In the end Go_A topped both the jury and televote and will represent Ukraine in Rotterdam.
On their last participation in 2018, Ukraine finished 17th in the final with “Under the Ladder” by Mélovin. MARUV was due to represent the country in Tel Aviv with “Siren Song”. However, MARUV and UA:PBC could not come to an agreement on her participation for a number of reasons, including MARUV’s upcoming performances in Russia. As such, Ukraine were forced to withdraw from the contest.
