Poland: Viki Gabor Wins Junior Eurovision 2019

Poland has won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest for the second year in a row.

Today the seventeenth edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest took place in Gliwice, Poland. A total of nineteen nations took part in the world’s biggest television show for children between the ages of 9 and 14 years old. This year saw the return of Spain, having last participated in 2006, while Israel and Azerbaijan withdrew from the contest. In the end, it was Viki Gabor from Poland who won with the song “Superhero”.

The Arena Gliwice played host for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, with the arena being transformed for the acts from all corners of Europe and Australia. Guiding viewers through the show was a trio of hosts; Ida Nowakowska, Aleksander Sikora and Roksana Wegiel.
