Leonora has released a string version of the Danish entry for Eurovision 2019, “Love is Forever”.
Leonora from Denmark has recorded a string version of “Love is Forever”, her entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2019. The string arrangement was composed by Nicholai Kornerup. Leonora was joined by Live Johanssen, Sidsel Feher Most, Karen Johanne Pedersen and Andrea Gyarfas Brahe for the recording.
Who is Leonora?
20-year-old Leonora will be representing Denmark at the Eurovision Song Contest. Leonora is a person with many talents, she is a triple Danish Championship title holder in figure skating, and she has participated in both the Junior World Championship and Nordic Championship.
Outside the world of sport, she decided at the age of 15 to focus on music instead, playing guitar and writing her own songs. She was then approached by Lise Cabble to perform “Love is Forever” and won the Danish selection.

Denmark debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1957 alongside Austria and the United Kingdom. To date Denmark has won the contest on three occasions, the first being in 1963 when Grethe & Jorgen Ingmann performed “Dansevise”. Denmark won the contest again in 2000 represented by the Olsen Brothers, their most recent victory came in 2013 when Emmelie de Forest performed “Only Teardrops”. Denmark failed to qualify for the final of the Eurovision Song Contest in 2015 and 2016.
