Slovenia: RTVSLO Reveals Interval Acts for EMA 2019

RTVSLO has revealed the three artists who will be performing as interval acts at the final of EMA 2019.

Lea Sirk will be one of the three artists who will be taking to the stage of EMA 2019 as interval acts tomorrow evening. Lea who represented Slovenia at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest took the nation through to their first final since 2015. She will be performing her song “Hvala Ne!” for the Slovenian public.

Also taking to the stage tomorrow are Spanish performer InoT who has become well known in Slovenian for his covers of well known singers. Slovenian rapper Smaal Tokk will be performing as well

The running order for the show is as follows:

  1. Kim – Rhythm Back To Me
  2. Renata Mohorič – Three Bridges
  3. René – Ne poveš
  4. Fed Horses – Ti ne poznaš konjev
  5. Ula Ložar – Fridays
  6. Lumberjack – Lepote dna
  7. Okustični – Metulji plešejo
  8. INMATE – Atma
  9. Zala Kralj and Gašper Šantl – Sebi
  10. Raiven – Kaos

The show will take place in two stages, an expert jury will be used in the first round to determine which 2 of the 10 entries will advance to the Super Final. Of the 2 entries chosen to be competing in the Super Final, the eventual winner will be selected solely by a public vote. The jury will not have any influence in the Super Final unless there is a technical difficulty in the public voting system.

The contest will be broadcast on Direct transfer can be monitored on TV SLO 1, Val 202, Radio Maribor, Radio Koper and RTV 4D from 20:00 CET.

Slovenia was one of three countries to join the Eurovision Song Contest in 1993. The country qualified through a specially organised selection round called “Kvalifikacija za Millstreet” which was hosted in Slovenia, seven countries competed for three spots in Eurovision 1993. The country has participated in 22 editions of the Eurovision Song Contest. Their best result came in 1995 when Darja Švajger finished 7th scoring a total of 84 points, she is closely followed by Nuša Derenda who finished 7th in the 2001 contest with 70 points.
