RTVSLO has revealed the running order for the final of EMA 2019 on February 16.
The Slovenian national broadcaster has this evening revealed the running order for the Grand Final of EMA 2019. The National Final will take place with 10 entries and artists competing to represent Slovenia this year. This years show is set to be hosted by Ajda Smrekar.
The show will take place in two stages, an expert jury will be used in the first round to determine which 2 of the 10 entries will advance to the Super Final. Of the 2 entries chosen to be competing in the Super Final, the eventual winner will be selected solely by a public vote. The jury will not have any influence in the Super Final unless there is a technical difficulty in the public voting system.
The running order for the show is:
- Kim – Rhythm Back To Me
- Renata Mohorič – Three Bridges
- René – Ne poveš
- Fed Horses – Ti ne poznaš konjev
- Ula Ložar – Fridays
- Lumberjack – Lepote dna
- Okustični – Metulji plešejo
- INMATE – Atma
- Zala Kralj and Gašper Šantl – Oprosti
- Raiven – Kaos
Lea Sirk represented Slovenia in Lisbon in 2018 with “Hvala, ne!” She was the first Slovene representative to qualify for the final since 2015. She finished 22nd with 64 points.

Slovenia was one of three countries to join the Eurovision Song Contest in 1993. The country qualified through a specially organised selection round called “Kvalifikacija za Millstreet” which was hosted in Slovenia, seven countries competed for three spots in Eurovision 1993. The country has participated in 22 editions of the Eurovision Song Contest. Their best result came in 1995 when Darja Švajger finished 7th scoring a total of 84 points, she is closely followed by Nuša Derenda who finished 7th in the 2001 contest with 70 points.
