Armenia: Eurovision 2019 Participation Confirmed

Armenia has confirmed that they will be participating in the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Armenia has become the latest country to confirm that they will be competing in the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest. The confirmation leaves just Moldova, Russia and San Marino as the only countries that participated in the 2018 contest yet to state their intention to take part in the 2019 contest.

AMPTV has yet to reveal how they will select their participant for the 2019 contest. Since 2017 the country has used Depi Evratesil to select their entrant for the competition. In 2017 the show was used to select their singer, while in 2018 both singer and song were selected.

Sevak represented Armenia at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon, Portugal. He participated in the first semi-final with his song “Qami”, placing 15th with 79 points.
