Yulia Samoylova has revealed the delegation that will be travelling to Lisbon for the 63rd Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon, Portugal.
Russia’s Yuila Samoylova has revealed on social media the Russian delegation who will be travelling to Portugal for the Eurovision Song Contest 2018. The delegation pictured has sparked conversations regarding the staging of her performance due to the inclusion of multiple dancers.

No details regarding the Russian performance have been revealed. However there has been speculation on social media that the performance will feature projections.
Yulia Samoylova was born in Ukhta, a small industrial town in the Russian North, on October 7, 1989. A singer, composer and songwriter, she has won multiple music competitions both in Russia and abroad. She was the runner-up of the Russian version of The X Factor and took part in the opening ceremony of the 2014 Paralympics.
She was selected to represent Russia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 with the song “Flame is Burning”, but the country withdrew. This year, she will be performing “I Won’t Break” in Lisbon.

Russia in the Eurovision Song Contest Russia debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1994 and has gone on to be one of the most successful countries in the contest. Since the mid-00s Russia has had a string of strong results including their first and only victory to date in 2008. Dima Bilan won the contest in Belgrade, Serbia with the song “Believe” taking the contest to Moscow the following year. In the 2015 and 2016, Russia finished in 2nd and 3rd place respectively in the final.
