Waylon has performed his second potential Eurovision entry “Outlaw in Em” tonight on Dutch TV.
Waylon, who will represent the country at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon this May, performed “Outlaw in Em” live on Dutch TV earlier this evening. The song is the second song that Waylon has revealed is in contention to represent the Netherlands at this year’s contest. You can watch the full performance of “Outlaw in Em” here.
This performance of “Outlaw in Em” follows Waylon’s live performance of “Back Together”, the first of his five potential Eurovision entries, last Friday. You can watch the full performance of “Back Together” below.

Over the next three days, Waylon will perform his other three potential Eurovision entries, “The World Can Wait”, “That’s How She Goes” and “Thanks But No Thanks”. Waylon announced on Friday that he has already chosen which of the five songs he will take to the stage in Lisbon, and commented that he has “chosen the final official submission for Portugal with (his) heart”. The Netherlands will announce this Friday (2nd March) which of these five songs will represent the country in Lisbon. All five of his songs will appear on Waylon’s new album The World Can Wait. His tour of the same name begins on 12th April.
Waylon will represent the Netherlands in the second semi-final of Eurovision 2018 on 10th May. This will be his second appearance on the Eurovision stage following his participation as part of The Common Linnets in 2014, who finished in second place with “Calm After the Storm”.
Waylon, born Willem Bijkerk, first came to public attention after he finished second on the first season of Holland’s Got Talent in 2008. He left The Common Linnets soon after Eurovision 2014 and returned to his solo career. He has been a coach on The Voice of Holland for the past two years.
