Google Creates The Eurovision 2017 Results Based on Searches

Google has revealed how this years Eurovision Song Contest results would look if the number of searches were used.

The internet search engine Google has revealed how this years Eurovision Song Contest results would look if the number of searches were used to calculate the points. They have calculated both who the twenty finalists would be as well as who would win the contest.

According to the search engine the following twenty countries would qualify for the final:

  • Albania (Knocked out in Semi-Final One)
  • Armenia
  • Australia
  • Austria
  • Azerbaijan
  • Belgium
  • Bulgaria
  • Croatia
  • Cyprus
  • Denmark
  • Finlandย (Knocked out in Semi-Final One)
  • Greece
  • Hungary
  • Ireland
  • Israel
  • Portugal
  • Serbia
  • Sweden
  • Switzerland
  • The Netherlands

Based on the results of the contest so far based on Google searches alone the public failed to predict Moldova and Poland making it through to the final from semi-final one.
