Sunstroke Project have filmed the second part of their postcard for the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kyiv, Ukraine.
Suntroke Project have finished the filming of their postcard for this years Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv, Ukraine. The second half was filmed today in Ukraine, and features the trio dancing together. The first half was shot in their home country. This years postcards will show the singers having fun in their home country and then doing an activity in Kyiv. The postcard is a short clip that we see on our screens at home before the performance starts, to allow for the stage to be prepared and the act to get in position.
This follows their first rehearsal earlier on in the day, which allowed them to get a feel for the stage and to practice their full performance. Their performance is similar to that in their National Final, in which they have three backing singers in bridal dresses, and the same foot-tapping choreography.
Sunstroke Project last participated in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2010 alongside Olia Tira, they qualified for the final with “Runaway” but finished 22nd. Since then they have attempted to represent Moldova at the contest on a further three occasions. In 2015 they narrowly missed out on returning the contest finishing 3rd in the national final.
Moldova are hoping that Sunstroke Project will be able to take the country back to the final of the Eurovision Song Contest having last performed in a final in 2013. Moldova debuted in the contest 12 years ago when the contest was last held in Kyiv.
