Eurovision Fan House Officially Launches

Eurovision Fan House has gone live today creating a new space for fans, including a shop, vlogs, blogs and games.

Eurovision Fan House has been launched today as a new platform for fans of the Eurovision Song Contest. Currently, the website only features a shop featuring new merchandise aimed at fans of the Eurovision Song Contest, t-shirts, hoodies, infant clothes are now all available to purchase. While new clothing focused on trends and country-memes are now on sale.

The Eurovision Fan House is, according to a Native Media press release:

“Envisioned as an ever-expanding collection of digital properties which will provide gamification, on-demand merchandising, artificial intelligence-powered content and multiple other engaging forms of digital entertainment. The EFH aims to engage the global, predominantly millennial fan base with the Eurovision Song Contest on a year-round basis.”

“The Eurovision Song Contest is a unique success story – a 60-year-old music competition that unites viewers on all platforms in more than 40 countries every May. Through the partnership with The Native Media Inc., we want to complement our existing channels by offering more content for the millennial generation to follow and engage with the Eurovision Song Contest throughout the year. The Eurovision Fan House will help us achieve this objective,” said Jean Philip De Tender, the European Broadcasting Union’s Media Director.

The Native Media Inc. will roll out the Eurovision Fan House in 2017/2018 with a staged launch through the year, completing functionality and experience offered to a global digital audience in time for the Eurovision Song Contest 2018.

“Making this formidable television product relevant for a millennial audience, who consumes their content mostly on the go, online and on mobile devices is what The Eurovision Fan House is about,” – commented Izabela Depczyk, the Founder and CEO of The Native Media Inc. “We are honoured to have EBU’s trust with this exciting new venture, and are convinced we will make the Eurovision Fan House as entertaining for the fans as the finale itself,” added Ms. Depczyk.
