NRK has announced the names of the four regular guests on Adresse Kiev, the Norwegian Eurovision preview show.
Norway has announced that their annual preview show is returning this year, with four regular guests ready to discuss all 43 songs in this years Eurovision Song Contest. On the panel this year are:
- Line Elvsåshagen – Host of Melodi Grand Prix 2017
- Per Sundnes – Former Head of Delegation for Norway at the Eurovision Song Contest
- Ingeborg Heldal – Editor
- Jan Fredrik Karlsen – Musical Director of Melodi Grand Prix
NRK is inviting fans from across Norway to attend the filming of the four shows that will make up this years series of Adresse Kiev, you can fill in the application to be in the audience here. Filming of the shows takes place on April 3, April 5 and April 6.
Norway are being represented by JOWST and Aleksander Walmann with the song “Grab The Moment”, JOWST won the Goldfinal of Melodi Grand Prix with a total of 46,064 votes, 6,000 votes ahead of runners-up Ammunition. A total of 1.155 million viewers watched the final of Melodi Grand Prix this year. The viewing figures for the show are down 158,000 over last years selection process, however the show had its highest share of viewers since 2010, with 73% of viewers tuning into watch the competition.
Norway will perform in the second half of the second semi final on May 11 in Kyiv and will be hoping to return to the final having failed to qualify in 2016.

Norway debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1960, and have won the contest three times – in 1985, 1995 and 2009. The country has the dubious record of finishing last the most times, eleven in total, and have received nul points four times. Norway last won the contest in 2009 when Alexander Rybak broke all records with his song “Fairytale”. He scored 387 points in the final, receiving 16 sets of 12 points and scoring points from every country.
