Estonia: Måns Zelmerlöw and Beyond Beyond for Eesti Laul interval

The interval acts for the grand final of Eesti Laul 2017 have been announced. Måns Zelmerlöw and Beyond Beyond will perform during the show on 4th March.

In a special video message aired during last Saturday’s second-semi final of Eesti Laul, Måns announced that he is “really happy” to be a special guest on the show, and that he “can’t wait” to attend the show. He will perform his new song ‘Glorious’.

Also performing during the show will be Estonian boyband Beyond Beyond, who will also perform in the final dress rehearsal to take place in the afternoon of 4th March. This rehearsal will also have a live audience.

Beyond Beyond commented that:

Because of our young age, we do not compete ourselves (in Eesti Laul). But we are happy that we can perform in the Eesti Laul rehearsals and final regardless and to share the stage with the best and mighty of Estonia

The final of Eesti Laul will see the following ten acts compete to represent Estonia in the 62nd Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv:

  1. Ariadne – “Feel Me Now”
  2. Daniel Levi – “All I Need”
  3. Elina Born – “In or Out”
  4. Ivo Linna – “Suur loterii”
  5. Karl-Kristjan & Whogaux feat. Maian – “Have You Now”
  6. Kerli – “Spirit Animal”
  7. Koit Toome & Laura – “Verona”
  8. Lenna Kuurmaa – “Slingshot”
  9. Liis Lemsalu – “Keep Running”
  10. Rasmus Rändvee – “This Love”

The show will be broadcast live from Tallinn’s Saku Arena for the second year running. The winner will represent Estonia in the 2nd half of the 2nd semi-final in Kyiv on 11th May, and will hope to take Estonia back to the Eurovision final after Jüri Pootsmann’s “Play” finished last in its semi-final in Stockholm. Out of these ten acts, five have participated in a past Eurovision. Four have represented Estonia itself – Ivo Linna (1996), Koit Toome (1998), Laura (2005 as part of Suntribe) and Elina Born (2015) – meanwhile Lenna Kuurmaa represented Switzerland as part of Vanilla Ninja in 2005.
