Spain’s Eurovision 2017 entrant Manel Navarro will be performing at Ukraine’s selection show Vidbir 2017.
The third semi final of Ukraine’s Eurovision 2017 selection show Vidbir 2017 is coming up this weekend, and it has been announced that Spain’s 2017 representative Manel Navarro will be performing “Do It For Your Lover” as an interval act. NAVI from Belarus performed a Belarusian version of Jamala’s winning song 1944, and Georgian entrant Take Gachechiladze performed her Eurovision song “Keep The Faith” in the first show.
Manel Navarro won Objetivo Eurovision last week after the final score came to a tie between him and Mirela. Since the jury had the deciding vote, they chose Manel to represent the country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 with his song “Do It For Your Lover”.
Taking part in the third semi-final of the Ukrainian selection is:
- Payushchie Trusy – Singing Pants
- O.Torvald – Time
- Anastasia Prudius – Flow
- Vitaly Kozlovsky – Be Your Light
- Kadnay – Freedom In My Mind
- Melovin – Wonder
- Green Grey – Future Is On
- Vivienne Mort – Iniy
Only 2 artists will qualify to the final next week. The qualifiers will be decided by 50% jury voting and 50% public televoting. The jury is made up of composer and producer Konstantin Meladze, Eurovision winner for Ukraine Jamala, and Andriy Danylko who represented Ukraine in 2007 as the Verka Serduchka.
The line-up of the grand final looks like this so far:
- Tayanna – I Love You
- Salto Nazad – O, Mamo!
- Rozhden – Saturn
- Illaria – Thank you for my way
The grand final will take place on Saturday 25th February, and the winner will be decided by a combination of jury and public televote.
