Tonight Hungary continued their search for their Eurovision 2017 entrant with the last of their three heats. Six acts qualified from tonight’s show to one of two semi-finals to take place next week.
Five of these qualifiers were chosen by an 80/20 jury-public vote, whilst the sixth was chosen purely by televotes. The results were as follows:
- “See It Through” – Gigi Radics (Jury vote 36, public vote 7, 43 combined)
- “#háttérzaj” – Zävodi + Olivér Berkes (Jury vote 36, public vote 5, 41 combined)
- “Hosszú idők” – TOTOVA (Jury vote 34, public vote 7, 41 combined)
- “Origo” – Joci Pápai (Jury vote 35, public vote 6, 41 combined)
- “Vége van” – The Couple (Jury vote 33, public vote 5, 38 combined)
- “Kalandor” – Soulwave (Jury vote 27, public vote 7, 34 combined) [televote qualifier]
- “Hunyd le szemed” – Orsi Sapszon (Jury vote 32, public vote 5, 37 combined)
- “Father’s Eyes” – Benjámin Pál (Jury vote 30, public vote 7, 37 combined)
- “Jericho” – Enikő Muri (Jury vote 28, public vote 6, 34 combined)
- “Got to Be a Day” – Kyra Fedor (Jury vote 27, public vote 7, 34 combined)
The jury favourites tonight were Gigi Radics and Zävodi + Olivér Berkes, who both scored 36 out of 40 with the judges. However Gigi had greater public support, which brought her into 1st place. The biggest surprise tonight was Soulwave, who came in joint last place with the judges and yet were saved by the public and became the sixth qualifier.
Next week, on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th February, Hungary will hold the two semi-finals of A Dal 2017. The following 18 songs will compete in one of these two shows:

Four acts from each of these semi-finals will progress through to the grand final of A Dal on 18th February.
