NAVI who are representing Belarus at Eurovision 2017 also won the international jury vote which was held to gauge European preferences.
TVR the Belarusian national broadcaster has revealed that the international jury who voted the day before Belarus’ Eurovision selection, would have selected Navi to represent them in Kyiv. The international jury was made up of representatives from Poland, Greece, Malta, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Australia, Italy, Armenia, Israel. Each representative was asked to listen to the studio versions of the songs and award points from 1 to 10.
On the jury were:
- Alex Panayi – Greece
- Gohar Gasparyan – Armenia
- Gordon Bonello – Malta
- Grzesinski – Poland
- Joana Levieva-Sawyer – Bulgaria
- Konstantin Hudov – Ukraine
- Nicola Caligiore – Italy
- Stephanie Werrett – Australia
- Tali Eshkoli – Israel
The results of the vote were as follows:
- Lexy Weaver (Aleksandra Tkach) – Be Stronger – 59 points – 2nd
- Kattie – Wild Wind – 32 points – 11th
- Vladislav Kurasov – Follow the Play – 48 points – 6th
- NAVI – Historyja majho žyccia – 72 points – 1st – Winner
- Angelica Pushnova – We Should Be Together – 42 points – 9th
- Isaac Nightingale – On The Red Line – 51 points – 5th
- Anastasiya Sheverenko – We’ll Be Together – 52 – 4th
- July – Children of the World – 54 points – 3rd
- LERMONT x JULIC – Heartbeat – 21 points – 13th
- PROvokatsiya – My Love – 44 points – 8th
- Nikita Hodas – Voices in My Head – 27 points – 12th
- NAPOLI – Let’s Come Together – 44 points – 7th
- NUTEKI – Take My Heart – 35 points – 10th
The following artists received the maximum of 10 points:
- Navi – 3 sets of 10 points – Bulgaria, Italy, Malta
- Isaac Nightingale – 2 sets of 10 points – Australia, Armenia
- July – 1 set of 10 points – Israel
- Napoli – 1 set of 10 points – Israel
The jury members from Ukraine, Greece and Poland did not award 10 points to any of the songs in the selection process.

For the past two years Belarus has failed to make it through to the final of the Eurovision Song Contest, this year IVAN finished 12th in the second semi final, 21 points away from qualification. Belarus’ best result in the contest came in 2007 when Dmitry Koldun finished 6th in the final with a total of 145 points.
