The running order draw for Georgia’s Eurovision 2017 selection is to be held tomorrow afternoon in Tbilisi.
Tomorrow at 12:00 CET the running order draw for the Georgian national selection will be held in Tbilisi. The draw will take place at the press center of Georgia Public Broadcasting, with the results of the result being published only shortly afterwards. A total of 25 artists are in the running to represent Georgia at the 62nd edition of the Eurovision Song Contest this May in Kyiv, Ukraine.
Competing in the selection are:

- Rati Durglishvili – Why
- Brandon Stone & Eter Beriashvili – Heyo Song
- Tornike Kipiani & Giorgi Bolotashvili – You Are My Sunshine
- Group EOS – Urban Signs
- Dima Kobeshavidze – Scream
- Maliibu – We Live Once
- Group Asea Sool – Nature

Georgia’s selection will take place on January 20 at the Philharmonic Hall in Tbilisi. The winner of the selection will be decided by 60% jury voting and 40% public televote. You can listen to all of the songs in the Georgian selection process here.

Sopho finished 8th in the final scoring 97 points, the song received 12 points from the televoters in Lithuania. Georgia has only ever missed one contest since their debut, this was in 2009 when Georgia had selected Stephane & 3G with “We Don’t Wanna Put In”, the song proved controversial for its lyrics aimed at the Russian President. The EBU asked for Georgia to rewrite the lyrics of the song or change the song completely. Georgia was forced to withdraw as it continued to state the lyrics were not of a political nature.[/tw-accordion-section] [/tw-accordion]
