Kyiv proposes changes to the famous Independence Square

The city of Kyiv is proposing major changes to Independence Square in central Kyiv should they win the right to host Eurovision 2017.

The city wishes to renovate the space after significant use over the past couple of years has seen damage occur to the site. The city is hoping to modernise the space by bringing in a fountain which lights up, furthermore they wish to install public WiFi. Kyiv is one of the front runners to currently host next years contest in Ukraine.
