Albania: Klesta Qehaja will represent Albania at Junior Eurovision 2016

Albania has selected Klesta Qehaja with the song “Besoj” at the 14th Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Malta.

A total of of 14 artists took part in the final of Festivali 52 i Këngës për Femije in Tirana. The winner tonight was selected by a jury. The show also featured performances from Destiny Chukunyere the winner of Junior Eurovision 2015 as well as Mishela Rapo who represented Albania at last years contest in Sofia.

The 14 hopefuls were (listed by running order):

3. Rajan Kukaleshi – “Vetem nuk je”
4. Jasmina Hako – “Si fluturim” – 2nd
5. Michelle Prodani – “Prinder”
6. Xhesika Pengili – “Largoje trishtimin”
7. Marko Strazimiri – “Music makes my day” – 3rd
8. Vivian Biaxhorni & Xhamerino Bollati – “Ne mes yjesh”
9. Endi Muça – “Dua te jem”
10. Klesta Qehaja – “Besoj” – 1st
11. Klea Mema – “Dua te jem e lire”
12. Eda Muça – “Lulja qe me dhurove”
13. Dea Çobo – “Mirese erdhe flutur” – 3rd
14. Vivian Kokeri – “Portat e gëzimit”
