It’s the morning after the first semi final and viewing figures from last nights semi final are being reported. The article below brings you up to date with the figures that have been reported.

Belgium – 639,856 viewers tuned into VRT to watch the first semi final, these are the highest viewing figures for a semi final on VRT where Belgium has not been competing in it.

Czech Republic – On average 230,000 views tuned into CT2 to watch the semi final, viewing figures peaked at 306,000 but by the end of the show they had fallen to 176,000. This is around as many people who watched the final last year in the Czech Republic.

Italy – 357,000 viewers tuned into RAI 4 to watch the contest, this was up 33% on the average viewing figures for the time slot on the channel.

Portugal – 270,000 viewers watched the semi final on an hour delay. Portugal are not competing in this years contest.

The Netherlands – 2,900,000 viewers watched as Douwe Bob took the Netherlands back into the finals. This is down by 460,000 viewers on last years semi final when Trijntje Oosterhuis was knocked out.
