SVT has released details on the interval act of Semi Final 2 on Thurdays next week. Under the slogan “Man meets machine” robots will dance along with humans during the show. Choreographer and dancer Fredrik “Benke” Rydan explains the idea behind the act:
We will see a meeting between man and machine. Today we see how a machine can be human and how we can become mechanical.There’s something cool with it, but also frightening
The robots were built by famous German company KUKA from Augsburg who also constructed the robots for the robo-coaster at the Legoland amusement park in Günzburg, Bavaria.
