The preliminary dates for the three shows of the 62nd Eurovision Song Contest have been announced.
The EBU has announced the preliminary dates for next years contest as follows:
- Semi Final 1 – May 16
- Semi Final 2 – May 18
- Final – May 20
The dates have been chosen as so not to clash with other major television and sporting events that also take place during May. These dates are subject to change as the host broadcaster of next years contest will have final say as to when the contest will take place.
