Gabriela Gunčíková is to represent the Czech Republic at the 61st Eurovision Song Contest with the song “I Stand”.
Gabriela Gunčíková has been internally selected by CT to represent the Czech Republic in Stockholm. Gabriela is already an established singer in the Czech Republic having been a finalist in the second series of SuperStar. Gabriela was internally selected by five jury members to represent the Czech Republic, she said about being selected that:
For me it is especially a great honor. This competition has a great history, and it is the only project in the world of such a dimension that focuses on musical jousting throughout Europe. It’s like the European Cup in sports competitions, but here it is the best song and its presentation.
The singer will be performing “I Stand”. You can listen to a snippet of the song which will be released on tomorrow afternoon here.
