Moldova: Elle Likely To Withdraw From Eurovision Selection

TRM refused the requested changes

Moldovan media is reporting that the group Elle are likely to withdraw from the Moldovan Eurovision selection after their request to change one singer and their song is denied.

The group which is made up of Natalia Barbu (Moldova 2007), Nicoleta Dara and Tania Cerga had wanted to change their line up for the competition. Tania Cerga had wanted to leave the group for personal reasons. Management of the group had approached TRM requesting that they be allowed to change their line up and their song “Tare” as it was no longer possible to sing. The groups manager has now said that it is 90% likely that they will withdrawn from the selection.

The live auditions round of the selection is due to take place on December 19.
