20% Of Italians Tried To Vote For Italy

It has been reported that Italy has had a number of televoting issues and errors at Junior Eurovision 2015.

The Italian public were shown the number for which they should call if they wished to vote for the Italian entry in the contest. 19.96% of the votes cast in Italy went to Italy and thus had to be declared invalid. Furthermore the cost of sending an sms vote was incorrectly show, in the official rules for Italy the cost of voting was shown as being 0.77 Euro, however the actual charge was 1.01 Euro.

The full results of the Italian televoting have also been revealed by RAI, the results are as follows:

  2. Albania – 7.89%
  3. Malta – 6.96%
  4. Slovenia – 6.81%
  5. Ukraine – 4.51%
  6. San Marino – 4.45%
  7. Belarus – 3.84%
  8. Armenia – 3.43%
  9. Russia – 3.38%
  10. Ireland – 3.38%
  11. Georgia – 3.12%
  12. Serbia – 2.87%
  13. Australia – 2.41%
  14. Netherlands – 1.48%
  15. Macedonia – 1.18%
  16. Montenegro – 0.97%

  1. So in Italy’s televoting Italy almost won in the televoting with finishing just 2nd! 😛 hehehe…I just rest my case really! 😛
    Well expected for Bulgaria & Albania to finish 1st & 2nd when there are so many immigrants from these countries living in Italy..
    So Malta’s 3rd place is just fantastic when given these circumstrances with the diaspora..
    Oh…Armenia finished just 8th in the italian televoting…Really not good place if you consider that Armenia only lost by 9 points over the winner Malta..
